Guided Hiking Tour to the Marmots

Passing the historic Cowbell Smithy, we walk up to the Thorau Alm. Take drinks, snacks and, if necessary, walking sticks with you. Please bring your own car, if possible. Walking time depending on the chosen route, level of difficulty: easy to medium. You can choose the way back through the fairytale forest.
Our hiking guide walks along an old path and tells of the hard work of the woodcutters. Above the Thorau Alm it will be exciting. We want to observe the "manggein" - as we locals say to the marmots. With a bit of luck you might also see a golden eagle and chamois. After a refreshment stop at the Alm, we walk back to the starting point. A great tour for the whole family.
